These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the AsaanTax.pk website and to the services we provide. Please read them carefully. By using the website, creating an account or submitting an application, you accept these terms.

Scope of our services

AsaanTax.pk provides tax consultancy and related compliance services, including preparation and filing of tax returns and statements, tax and business registrations, replies to tax notices, bookkeeping, advisory services and assistance with car insurance quotations. The exact scope of work for your case is what we confirm to you when the fee is agreed.

Some services — such as representation before appellate forums, legal drafting, statutory audit and patent work — are carried out only by suitably qualified and authorised professionals.

Calculators and website content are estimates

The tax calculators on this website give estimates based on the published rates for the selected tax year and on the figures you enter. They do not take account of every rule that may apply to you and are not a tax computation for filing purposes.

Articles, guides and FAQs are general information. Tax laws, rates and procedures change, and although we take care to keep content current, you should not rely on it as advice for your specific situation. Please confirm against the current law and official notifications, or ask us.

Your responsibilities

True and complete information. You must give us information and documents that are true, accurate and complete, and tell us promptly if anything changes. We prepare your filings from what you provide and are not responsible for the consequences of information that was incorrect, incomplete or withheld.
Review before approval. You must read the prepared return, statement or application before approving it. Your approval confirms that its contents are correct to the best of your knowledge.
Timely response. You should respond to our questions and document requests in time for deadlines to be met.
Your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us at once if you believe someone else has used your account.
Lawful use. You must not use the website to submit false declarations, upload harmful files or attempt to access information that is not yours.

Filing only after your approval

We do not file any return, statement or application in your name without your approval. The process is:

We prepare the filing from your information and share it with you.
You review it and record your approval.
Only then is it submitted to the authority through its authorised procedure — for federal taxes, FBR's IRIS portal — and the acknowledgment is shared with you.

You remain the taxpayer. Responsibility for the declarations made and for paying any tax, surcharge or penalty due to the government stays with you.

No affiliation with FBR or the government

AsaanTax.pk is a private consultancy. It is not part of, endorsed by or affiliated with the Federal Board of Revenue, SECP, any provincial revenue authority, IPO Pakistan or any other government body. Decisions on registrations, assessments, notices, refunds, appeals and applications are made by the authority concerned, and we cannot promise any particular decision or the time it will take.

Fees and payment

The fee for a service is agreed with you before work starts. Where a price is shown on the website it is the starting point for a standard case; your fee is confirmed after we review your details.
Our fee does not include taxes, duties, surcharges, penalties or official fees payable to any authority. You pay those directly to the authority concerned.
Invoices are payable as stated on the invoice. We may pause work on an application while a payment is outstanding.
If you ask us to stop work, please tell us in writing. Fees for work already carried out up to that point remain payable.

Timelines

How long a service takes depends on how quickly complete information and documents are provided and on the processing time of the authority or company involved. Any time we mention is an estimate, not a guarantee. Please apply well before statutory due dates.

Car insurance

For car insurance, AsaanTax.pk assists you in obtaining and comparing quotations and in completing paperwork. Insurance and takaful cover is arranged only through licensed insurance and takaful companies. We do not issue policies, set premiums or decide claims. Your contract of insurance is with the insurer you choose, on the terms of its policy document, and estimates shown on this website are not offers of cover.

Intellectual property

The content of this website — text, design, calculators and graphics — belongs to AsaanTax.pk or its licensors. You may view and print it for your personal use. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.

Third-party services and links

The website links to official portals and other websites and uses third-party services to deliver messages and measure usage. We are not responsible for the availability or content of websites and systems we do not operate, including outages of government portals.

Limitation of liability

We carry out our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law:

we are not liable for loss arising from information or documents that were inaccurate, incomplete or provided late, or from decisions, delays or system failures of any authority, insurer or other third party;
we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or opportunity;
our total liability for any service is limited to the fee you paid us for that service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of Pakistan.

Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. The terms in force when you submit an application apply to that application.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan. We will always try to resolve a complaint with you directly first.
