About this service
Companies in Pakistan are incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) through its online system. A company is a separate legal person: it can own assets, sign contracts and open bank accounts in its own name, and the liability of its shareholders is limited.
We handle the incorporation from name search to certificate, and then set the company up for tax.
- Advice on the right type: private limited or single member company
- Company name reservation with SECP
- Memorandum and articles of association and the incorporation application
- Certificate of incorporation, followed by the company's NTN and FBR profile
- Guidance on the bank account and the first compliance filings
SECP decides on name approval and incorporation; we prepare the application carefully so that avoidable objections do not delay it.
Documents required
- CNIC copies of all directors and shareholders (passport for foreign nationals)
- Three proposed company names in order of preference
- Registered office address in Pakistan
- Main line of business
- Authorised and paid-up capital, and each person's shareholding
- A separate mobile number and email address for each director
Exact requirements depend on your case. Your officer will confirm the final list after reviewing your details.
How it works
- Send the inquiry form on this page with your contact details.
- We review your case, list the documents needed and confirm the fee with you.
- We reserve the company name and prepare the incorporation documents for your review.
- After your approval the application is submitted through SECP's online system; SECP sends verification codes to the directors.
- When SECP issues the certificate of incorporation we complete the company's FBR profile and explain the next filings.
Frequently asked questions
Which type of company should I choose?
If you are the only owner, a single member company fits. With two or more owners, a private limited company is the usual choice. We explain the differences before you decide.
Is there a minimum capital?
Company law does not set a general minimum paid-up capital for a private company, although some regulated sectors have their own requirements. We check this for your line of business under current SECP rules.
How long does company registration take?
It depends on SECP's processing and on whether the name and documents are accepted without objection. We keep you informed at each stage but do not promise a fixed time.
Do I need an office?
A company must have a registered office address in Pakistan where official letters can be received.
